The under 8 Colts traveled down to Baypoint FC who was hosting our under 8 festival. This was the under 8 colts very first festival and they did so well reaching the final and coming runners up in the cup. After drawing the first game the Harriers went on to win both there last 2 games 1-0 zach got the winner in the second game and Archie getting the winner in the last group game which gave Harriers top spot and progressing to the semi final where they would go on and play Ramsgate Orange. Through out the group stage they did not conceded a goal with both Jack and Logan making some great saves and some outstanding defending from Lily -Mae and captain Aiden. In the Semi final the Harriers went 1-0 down only to come back to make it 1-1 with Archie getting his second of the tournament. With the game looking to go to penalty’s a free kick in the last minute and Archie got his 3rd of the tournament and sent the Harriers supports wild on the touch line and the players and coaches celebrating to see the under 8 colts make the final. In the final it was not to be losing to Ramsgate White 4-1 with Archie scoring for Harriers. After the tournament it was great to see a Harriers player Archie Comber pick up player of the tournament and voted by all coaches and refs. Overall a great experience for the team and a proud moment to lead the team to a final and for an Harriers player to win player of the tournament.
