Herne Bay Harriers u9s played against Margate Youth in the East Kent Youth League Group A this Saturday. The Harriers started strong and looked solid throughout the match with defenders Harry Cooper and Harry Ellis forming a formidable barrier in front of goal, whilst the midfield and attack kept the Margate defence and goal keeper well occupied in the first half.

Breakthrough goals from strikers Michael Allen and Hugo Bousfield saw the Harriers build a lead that they never seemed in danger of losing after an athletic and disciplined performance from all. Man of the match went to Hugo Bousfield for a display of excellently taken goals and link up play.
