Herne Bay Harriers u9s played against Canterbury Eagles in the East Kent Youth League group A on a windswept Saturday in the wake of Storm Eunice.
A drenching of rain did little to stop the flow of beautiful football from The Harriers, a dominant first period saw the boys deservedly in front thanks to a goal from midfielder Eesa Lavrado-Travers.
After camping in the Eagles half the Harriers attacked the second period with a similar intensity to the first - leading to goals from Harry Ellis, Michael Allen and Hugo Bousfield.
A superb clean sheet, despite the heavy conditions, capped off a Player of the Match display by defender Harry Cooper.
