Herne Bay Harriers played their fourth league game of the season in the East Kent Youth League Group A as they hosted Total Football Development Youth in Herne. The Harriers were solid through out, dominating the possession as they welcomed back from injury goalkeeper Max Scott-Barker. Winger Dylan Darby scored his 4th of the season with a magnificent solo effort as the Harriers took the lead during the first half, TFDY managed to pull one back against the run of play just before half time with a superb counterattacking goal.
Following the break the Harriers pushed hard, creating a string of chances before Joe Cloke was fouled in the box after a driving run. The winger calmly slotted home his penalty giving the Harriers the lead. After a spotless display at the back, Harrier’s defender Harry Ellis took the Man of the Match award.
